B&W wedding cake (another one)

This one was for my cousin Doug and, now new wife, Teagan's wedding. Teagan sent me a few cakes she liked to give me ideas, but wanted me to come up with the final results. All she said was round or square, you decide, no flowers and black and white. All the black detail work is by eyeing it and done by hand. Made October 15, 2010.

Laundry!

This is a cake I wanted to make for myself someday, since it seems I am FOREVER doing laundry!!! But, before I had a chance to make it for me, one of my daughters friends wanted this for her fashion themed party. Made October 15, 2010.

Topsy Turvy

My first attempt at a topsy turvy cake and using the cricut cake machine. This was made for my sil's birthday. My brother helped me with this cake. It was alot harder than I figured it would be. Made October 23, 2010.

Chocolate Bar

Daisy picked this cake from one of my cake books. Next time I will make it look like a twix or a caramilk bar or something, to make it look more real. Made October 22, 2010

Flowers

A friend of mine ordered this for her MIL. I believe it was her 80th birthday. Made November 9th, 2010.

I love this look. Straight down from the top and you can't see any "stems"

Spider

I made this cake for my nephew's first birthday. I think this spider is so adorabel. Made November 3, 2010.

Made these for Zipporah and Sydney's 8th birthdays. Pig made August 2010, cow made September 2010.

Mission Homecoming

This cake was made for a missionary returning home for a mission in Colorado ( I don't remember the exact mission name) made August 2010

skittles and bounty bars

This cake was made for my son's 13th birthday. It is topped with skittles and surrounded in bounty chocolate bars, and then wrapped in fruit by the foot. made May 2010

Squares and Circles!

Kinda a neat change. No one has ever wanted a cake using both round and square pans before. I quite like it. The topper isn't the real topper. The bride was supplying the topper and she wasn't there when I was finished, so we did a make shift topper for the picture. Made April 30th, 2010.

Ivory and Pink wedding cake

This wedding cake has handmade fondant roses on top. The beading at the base of each layer is with pink butter cream, though most hte pictures you can't tell what color it is. Made April 24th, 2010.

Castle cake

Made this cake for Owen's 5th birthday. He had his first friend party and was so excited. Some of the kids thought the cake was real and wanted to play with it, and some did after we sang happy birthday and I had cut into one side. so funny!!!! made April 21, 2010.

Don't mind the black eye, he was jumping on one of the couches and fell and hit his eye on the bench.
